Heavy-Duty Floor Finish Remover

This product makes the ready-to-sell equivalent of Essential Brands:

  • #470 - Problem Wax Stripper
  • #2049 - Ammoniated Wax Stripper
  • #2095 - Xtra-Duty Stripper
  • High alkaline stripper turns difficult stripping jobs into a simple task.
  • Strips all acrylics, metal-interlocks, urethane emulsions and sealers.
  • Works in hard water - up to 22 grains.
  • Doubles as a heavy-duty cleaner and degreaser.
  • Easily makes ammoniated stripper with addition of aqua ammonia (purchased separately).
  • Available in 55 gallon drums.

Blending Tips/Quality Control Information

  • 470
  • This product should be blended with soft water or with tap water that is less than 11 grains hardness (200 ppm).
  • Powders dissolve quicker and more thoroughly in hot water with good agitation.
  • When hot water is not available, extend the agitation time until all powder is dissolved.
  • A more active version of 470 is available with the addition of Liquid Additive 489. Just replace 2 gallons of water with 2 gallons of Liquid Additive 489 for each 55 gallons of RTS product that is made.

  • RI = 17.8 - 19.8
  • pH = 12.5 - 13.5
